I lived in Haiti for three years. Breasts weren’t considered private. After 2 months, I didn’t even notice them. Interestingly, once I came back to Canada, they reverted back to being sexualized.

Far better. While they were secure, they had far less opportunities. There weren’t nearly as many rights, flexibility, and protections for workers. Besides, they had no internet, no cell phones, no computers. Mortgage rates were up past 20 % at one point. Imagine! Canada

Well, the best countries to live in tend to be socialist democracies with a strong capitalist free market and social safety net. Maybe the problem isn’t capitalism, but the form of government.

Machu Picchu. It does get crowded but we went first thing in the morning and it was peaceful. And it is stunning in a stunning place.
