because that’s how we used to imagine dinosaurs, just leather wrap skeletons and turned them into uncanny monsters. dinosaurs were likely chunkier, feathered, colorful… basically real animals.

I highly recommend Dinosaur Sanctuary, a manga made by a mangaka and a paleontologist. it treats dinosaurs (and other reptiles from the time) as real animals. it is wholesome and amazing.
