Usually, when people say “not political”, they mean they don’t give active thoughts or decision making in regards to political issues and just passively take it as it comes. Unless I’m wrong and it’s not usually.
Which implies they’re both privileged enough to not be affected by politics and that they’re comfortable bombing elementary schools in the middle east for sport.
I love that people are saying this now. I would have loved it more if they said it for the last three centuries.
Yeah, sadly people are saying this now because politics are affecting them and they have a platform, both of which haven’t been true for the same people most of history.
