So apparently now “men’s right activists” also doesn’t mean what it is just like “feminist”? I find all this redefinition of words really annoying and confusing :(

Can’t “men’s rights activists” just mean people who advocate for men’s rights? Or better yet, stop with the binary gendered language, and instead advocate for gender equity?

Feminists believe women have the same rights as men. What redefinition are you talking about? 🤔

“Radical” feminism, ie, not true feminism. Hijacking the name to try oppress men ‘in return’ for women being oppressed, or to oppress trans people.

I think you need to read up more on what radical feminism is. It is more down the rabbit hole than you’re describing.

It’s not the flipping of society to place women in men’s roles. it’s the eventual elimination of man-woman destinction entirely. Their end goal is for genitals to eventually not matter culturally. They attack ‘The Patriarchy’ because it is the current cultural zeitgeist that must be dismantled to make way for this liberated non-binary society they envision.

I’m very much in favour of gender abolition, but I’m not sure that’s what TERFs who self describe as ‘radical feminists’ mean by the term :p

Feminists believe women have the same rights as men.

I think their points are coming from places where women already have the same (and sometimes higher) level of rights as men and in those places, feminism is not of the same form as in the rest of the world.
