They are cute and look like flying puppies (at least some species) but they are sexual deviants, wash themselves with their own urine, regurgitate most food and need lots of other bats to be socially happy and big spaces to fly, it’s not easy owning a bat.

Sadly, I don’t work with bats, I just follow people who do on social media.

Exactly! Plus they are social animals and like to be with other bats. We should have a stickied post here on many reasons it’s not a good idea to own bats as pets. But we can admire them and people who rescue the from the comfort of this community! <3
