But that’s not what I am saying? SquareEnix made the game on release cheaper, because it is on a Game Key card and therefore cheap to produce. It’s only 40 compared to all other stores like Steam, that launched with 80 Euros. My complain is, why don’t they make digital only games cheaper in general, all games and all stores compared to their physical counter part. (I know why, it’s not a real question I ask.)

Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Switch 2 is only 40 Euros / Dollars instead the full price, because the game is on a Game Key card and not on cart. It is digital only, therefore they give you a discount on price. But why don’t they do that with all digital only games? Also for other stores like Steam?

The only reason I still hesitate is, because of the potential time sink and then it might be not for me. I watched a few YouTube videos, but still no conclusion for me so far… Biggest fear of playing new games is the time.

I’m about to start ELITE: Dangerous (played the ELITE game on NES way back…) which also have the first person element nowadays. Did you try that one yet? I still wait for Star Citizen to be “completed”, in the sense that I do not like playing Early Access periods.

They did not give money to Geoff. It was Geoff’s personal decision to include it in the end.

But besides that, I find it incredible sad that so many people hate this game, just because it was shown at the last in the show… That’s a bit unfair to hate a game based on that. Later people played it and it wasn’t that good either, but they addressed the issue. Still sad what happened to the game…

Why not? Not only you was much different, the game was a different man too. I want to like this game, but the gameplay loop and activities seem not for me. I played it for a few hours years ago and might go back and try again.

I’m not sure if that is a good idea, because the assets are cursed now.

40 Euros…

I had this game and was fortunate enough to play with a friend the tracks for highscores. Meaning we beat the scores and times and swapped games to play. Later on the internet, I was disappointed that people didn’t like this game, because it’s unusual. It’s high speed and people say that they don’t know what is coming and randomly crash. But the track parts coloring schemes shows you what will come next.

It’s a simple game by design. Hold left or right to move, jump and in the air, do stunts. If you land on the wheel after stunts, then you get a speed boost (or bonus points in the stunt tracks). Even the angle on landing has influence how you keep momentum. I highly recommend to play this game with a friend. It has a 2 player mode with split screen, but unfortunately no multiplayer interaction, you don’t even collide.

I didn’t know Firebreak existed (or forgot it). Doesn’t look like anything that makes me want to buy and play. I am not against the idea of the game, its just not exiting (unless you have friends or family who are exited for this). Looks like a forced multiplayer live service game on a developer who are known for interesting single player games… where did we saw that before? (Anthem, Suicide Squad, Marvel’s Avengers, Fallout 76)

If Game Pass was available on Linux, then I would subscribe for some months. I have a Xbox, but don’t want to start playing on console and then start from scratch on Steam, which is my main platform. Whatever that is a weird personal thing. I think that I wait until a good price on Steam and then purchase it.

I know this game has seen lot of shit talk, but so have lot of other games I enjoy a lot. To me its important why people dislike (or like) something.
