What’s your suggestion that avoids communities that are drowned out by US politics?

I appreciate the annoyance, I’ve had posts removed for US politics and occasionally there are posts I want to make in general communities that touch on the topic… but removing the rule would obviously negatively effect future content and the community. It’s got nothing to do with billionaires and I would call your comment pretty directly political, even if it’s an ideological view it quickly pulls into questions about what sort of system of government maintains that. But yeah, general communities should probably change “no US politics” to “No politics” to be more even handed

Walking is only not effective because others with lower ethics will take the money, right? And it should still be a skill cut and an image hit long term… presuming people favour not-fascism over more money, which admittedly isn’t realistic

I swapped from Voyager to this and far prefer Mlem

Its a video so tough to quickly scan so I didn’t watch it. To keep the block in that plane, I think that needs the forces to be to magnets pulling towards each other at the back and that seems like it would make the tuning hard since tightening / loosening each string moves and rotates the block holding the strings. Did they say much about that?

I’m yet to see one of these individuals that screams “malicious” actually explain or link their rationale. That causes me to distrust their motives pretty heavily

For others here, I use kagi and turned the LLM summaries off recently because they weren’t close to reliable enough for me personally so give it a test. I use LLMs for some tasks but I’m yet to find one that’s very reliable for specifics

It’s been great traveling the world and seeing more and more solar installations. There is a long tail for things like aviation and plenty of chemistry but the world is changing. It would be nice if less governments were voted in that were anti the transition but progress is still being made

Legislation for solar roofs on car parks is a great start. It’s a win-win for space usage, just a more expensive installation. Korea just added some legislation
