That might be how the first kernel popping gets detected.
I watched a while ago so I may misremember.
Cheap ones are just a timer that works for most common microwave popcorn packages.
Good ones detect the first popped kernel and then go for another 30s, as stated on most microwave popcorn packages
Pro tip: putting the URL in the following character sequence will just show the image in your comment instead of the URL
you can also add a description, mostly useful for accesibility (screen readers for e.g. sight impaired people):

2·24 days agoI skip the pesto and sandwich part, I just chop up some tomato’s and mozzarella, add some oregano, salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and have that as a salad. When I’m extra hungry I add some slices of bread with butter lol
what is comma? difficult to find anything with a search engine lol

on the regular lemmy web frontend you don’t get the thumbnail. but yeah, that URL is probably burnt into most lemmy users’ minds
yeah I was gonna say, seems like lemmy.zip is turning all images into external links
Isn’t the whole point of appimages to not use system dependencies and instead bring all their dependencies in one neat file?
