I would be concerned about Boris wrecking a perfectly good foyer. Maybe put at the end of your street, leaning on a tree, just make sure the neighbors know what he is, but not who put him there.

The decision to build a stadium that is completely inaccessible without a vehicle, even if you are staying at a hotel next door, is the point.
There’s an apartment building across the street from where I live, and sometimes the maintenance guy decides to spend his weekend blowing every single leaf on the property. He’ll be at it for hours and hours non-stop, and yes, it makes me wish I could delete leaf blowers from existence.
I work at a print shop and produce business cards all the time, like two or three different business card orders on a typical day. Most of my customers are in finance.

62·22 days agoThe article I saw yesterday about this Gen. Zhang Youxia said he was leaking sensitive information to the US. I wonder why Reuters declined to mention this accusation.
It seems like, maybe, with a title like “nobody is safe”, the authors are trying to scare us more than they’re trying to inform us.
It’s also a bit strange that they’re spinning the fact that this guy’s status and personal connections didn’t make him immune as a bad thing. If we were talking about western politics this would be a virtue.

So it’s worse than “using an LLM doesn’t engage your brain”, it’s more like “using an LLM actually makes you dumber.”

News@lemmy.world•Pentagon bought device through undercover operation some investigators suspect is linked to Havana Syndrome
3·1 month agoI mean that would be a little bit more plausible, although the article claims the opposite—that the device is super mysterious and the Americans don’t even know how to use it.
It sounds like someone pulled off a sweet scam though, getting “eight figures” for what sounds like a backpack full of cobbled together radio hardware.

18·1 month agoThe Steam Deck’s AMD Custom GPU 0405 also saw a sharp dip in this revision going from 21.41% now to 13.37%.
I would have thought the Linux share would be mostly made up of steam decks, but seems that’s not the case!

I’m not sure a 17 year old working a few hours a week is what they’re thinking of.
Ok the tone of the article is mostly fuzzy, but it seems the publication did explicitly ask for a “defense of child labor” article, which they then published with an Oliver Twist photo. 🤔
