Yeah I am just lodging a reaction based on my body chemistry. YMMV.
Jeans, sure. A shirt? That smells like laundry as soon as I take it off.

19·7 days agoThe increasing clarity that “big cloud” is one of the most existentially dangerous threats in the long term. The idea of not truly owning my own data, particularly in an era where truth itself is becoming more and more malleable, became intolerable.
Secondarily, the desire to get off the subscription hamster wheel and own all my own media.
Early crush for me. I went straight from Tiffani Amber-Thiessen to Shirley Manson but if you’ve heard Queer you know why.
Well, as I see it, evangelical Christianity has just about totally morphed into Christian Nationalism by now, and the canon for Christian Nationalism seems to essentially be Trump’s Truth Social feed.
As a former evangelical Christian I can assure you that any average one of them can only be said to have read the bible in the same way that I could be said to have read my favorite cook book. If that.

454·11 days agoThis would have actually been a great thing to not only acknowledge but promote if they weren’t so caught up in their own hype.
Not that I will ever get into one of those death traps but if you tell the average consumer that any failures in autonomy immediately engage a tele-operator “to keep you moving on your way” they would probably feel better about riding.
I’ve done tele-driving before and it’s remarkably good, even if latency is a concern.
It’s the facade of it all, the need to seem to live up to the hype. It’s going to get more people killed.

If it had been a former Holiday Inn Express employee, maybe, but I don’t feel this guy has a lot of credibility as is.
