Still not really a comic strip.

Still not really a comic strip.

A single picture isn’t really a comic strip.

Why would Putin want his proxy state attacked?

It’s almost like he only joined in on the war because Israel was instructing him or something.
Tax evasion is illegal… Tax avoidance is legal.

…and Civil is the only word capitalised.
Anyone young enough is now part of generation rations.

Nah, it’s just imperialist billiards, big vs little.
It’s all part of “the great game” the west has been playing against Russia in the middle east for over a century… The middle east is where America does it’s proxy wars.
World wars are only a risk if a white western European country is attacked. Horrendous how those in power see the world, isn’t it?

…and we’ll all suffer as climate change increases. None of this shit is worth frying for.

They don’t want to give the full quote where he does use the term “leftist” (but not craze) - PROBABLY because they don’t want to platform Fetterman’s idea that the media should be doing criticism of other countries actions as much as the American governments actions.
…a point that doesn’t really make sense, because the fourth estate in democractic countries are supposed to cover criticism of their own governments more than others.

He did say the word “leftist”. He doesn’t say crazed, but he does say:
“The Leftist media seem more angry and talking about the deaths of these dead school girls than they were about Iran killing tens of thousands of their own young people a couple of weeks ago”

All I did was search the rest of the article for the term “leftist” notice it was used, then goto the link the New Republic provided. The question the interviewer is posing is why did all the Senate Democrats signed a letter condemning the US action in Iran except for John Fetterman.

Christianity tends to be patriarchal. No point getting clever about it… Followers of “faith” aren’t philosophers. They believe in unreason.

Turn out cutting social safety nets creates issues in society.

I don’t think public support is so easy to perceive/know/determine.

Real question is, is the new guy any better than the old guy considering he’s putting out the same Russian viewpoint on the conflict… And is a nepo choice.
I imagine he’s more open to social and cultural modernisation but will ultimately still follow and cooperate with Russia against the west… Which means Israel and the US will probably push for regime change.
Don’t know what this means for the MEC (new trade corridor), but probably means the bombing will continue until a more substantial regime change.

That sentiment about Israel and America isn’t new. It’s part of the ongoing social fabric.
Also, the Trump administration is mostly incompetent, Israel is driving this operation. The US are following as long as their geopolitics align.
…and she never gets accused of giving cats unfair body standards to meet.

The first episode of DISCO put me on the path towards dislike. I thought we were going to get slightly more cinematic trek, with Michelle Yeoh’s Character and Michael Burnham forming some sort of leadership team for mostly contained episodes… Perhaps with show long arcs (like VOY or DS9).
I had such hopes for that during the opening half of the episode. But I was left waiting for something that never showed up.
I’d love to see POC women taking their rightful place in ST leadership (because they so often have and do in progressive politics IRL). None the less to say what “get” as the root of Star Trek clearly isn’t what the writers “get” as the root of New Trek.

We must protect our dog walkers and the future for fur children.
It’s great that the world forces young people to learn technical skills to get what they want! Kudos to her and her friends.
