351·7 days agoSo to avoid that situation they are using AI generated music, made by an AI which is trained on unlicensed music because the AI companies don’t give a crap. Nice.
According to some recent articles Grindr is leaning fully into AI. I’d hope Turing would be someone not happy about such a development.
62·12 days agoNone. Just use an app, there’s tons of decent ones, they are all third party and therefore nothing fishy is going on. Maybe stay away from getting them from the PlayStore if you can, use F-droid/Github, some apps have ads in them. Good ones don’t.
Cut out the middle man, remove the grater.

Did you try Top and then something like the last 6 hours? That used to be a decent one during the API surge of users a few years back when hot didn’t work so well yet, for some reason.

5·19 days agoI like it, but their subscription or high price paid app model is not something I agree with.
At least they have written a long page explaining their motivation with it, but this is still way more than I would ever pay for a launcher on my phone.
Please, just learn from this and stop using the app.

Don’t get your shopping advice from influencer videos. Jeez, shouldn’t that be obvious? Their name is literally describing what they aim to do, to influence you to buy crap they advertise, and 99% of cases they advertise them because they are paid to do so.
I couldn’t believe it is real, but it is!
