From the article, looks like Meija’s views on Israel are even stronger than Malinowski’s. So it’s even further against AIPIC’s interests for Meija to have won, but I assume they hasn’t considered that at the time of putting the attack ads out. But I may be wrong, the article doesn’t make it quite as clear as it maybe could.
Except this is specifically calling out the use of ‘underage women’, not ‘young women’, so I think you might be getting a bit away from your point.

I’m sure I read some suggestion of charging her with felony murder; as in she committed a felony (anyone’s guess what that would even be) and as a result her wife got shot, which somehow makes it her fault.
Sounds an awful lot like a rule.
