I could do a lot of things I do on the daily on my phone. But it would be more finicky and annoying. I have automated pretty much all regular maintenance my PC needs long ago. I just don’t see what I’d get, except for more janck.

LLMs are stateless. The model itself stays the same. Doesn’t mean they’re not saving the data elsewhere, but the LLM does not retain interactions.

That is a very different argument from no one being around to run the economy. I don’t necessarily disagree, but I don’t think that the ratio of workers to owners will change meaningfully before the system is at a breaking point due to missing labour. Not having children also doesn’t preclude you from working to induce mass action.

I use qemu/kvm with vm manager. There’s a lot of other options too. Most of them are valid indefinitely.

I also feel like the risk levels are very different. If it’s something that performs a function but doesn’t save/serve any custom data (e.g. bentopdf), that’s a lot easier to decide to do than something complicate like Jellyfin.

Because Myasaki has very publically spoken about thinking AI generated stuff is horrible and soulless, and that he’d never use it. Them coming out with a Ghibli filter felt like it was a reaction to that.

I don’t think anyone says the Ghibli filter is copyright infringement. You can’t really copyright an art-style. It’s just kinda a dick move.

Dunno the others, but Ren is pretty great. Kinda salty he blew up though - he used to be a great recommendation to give people, and now everyone knows him.
