I realize that Dave Lombardo is said to be among the best drummers in the genre, but his speed polka beats piss me off more than they should.

For me, it’s “Slurpnik”. You’ll have to ask Vlad or Igor what it means, I guess.
It’s widely agreed upon that the original fresco was not particularly valuable or artistically remarkable. It’s not like somebody messed up the Mona Lisa or a Rembrandt. If I ever happen to be in the area, I’m definitely going to see the thing in person. It’s become quite a tourist magnet, and the town is happy about it.

Games@lemmy.world•Game devs hate this slop too (who's surprised)English
84·18 days ago“I cannot imagine any reason Nvidia would be pursuing this beyond really needing every possible pipeline of every possible industry to be so overflowing with slop that they can keep investors convinced there will indeed be a need for more Nvidia products in the big slop centers being built with people’s retirement funds. This has nothing to do with games, it has nothing to do with game developers, and it has nothing to do with gamers."
That pretty much sums it up, I’d say.
Fix that wire before you cause damage to your catalytic converter or worse. The sensor is important for the engine to calculate the proper amount of fuel it has to inject. Too little (lean) and too much (rich) are both detrimental to your engine’s well-being.
Didn’t even slam that stem. What a douchenozzle.

1·1 month agoCannot convert precisely right now, but in Germany I’d say gas is currently at 1,90€ per liter.
That would place the gallon at 7.00 to 7.50 USD.Did the math, that’s 8.35 USD per gallon at current conversion rates.
I like your quality content tho.

Technology@lemmy.world•MSI's $80 AMD motherboards with DDR4 support swoop in to rescue gamers amid the global RAM crisisEnglish
6·1 month agoFor me, it would be a great option if my B450 board goes belly up. I have 32 gig of DDR4 installed and would prefer to keep the system operational for a couple more years with the 5700X3D.
That said, I don’t quite see why they need to introduce new boards for AM4. Inexpensive B550 has been around for quite a while now.

5·1 month agoI wish SR 2 was available as a technically okay version. I have the GOG edition, but that suffers from the horrendous music quality and I believe frame rate issues. I seem to remember that it’s one of those games where they tied physics to hardware clock speeds and it would never run right if you couldn’t play it on the PS 3 or X 360. I will have to look into that because I would love to enjoy all those fantastic cutscenes once again.

Your 5. is not wrong though. My first printer was a used Ender 3 v2 that I modified and tuned quite a bit until I was finally tired of issues with the bowden extruder and got myself an Ender 3 S1 Pro. In hindsight, I should have purchased the S1 Pro in the first place, but the v2 did teach me valuable lessons, even though I quite probably spent more time fixing and tuning the thing than enjoying successful prints.
The S1 Pro ended up accumulating a lot of dust over my two years of ownership and I now own a Qidi Q2. That one has its own set of issues and design flaws, but their support is okay and for what it costs, it can print an astonishing variety of materials with good to great quality.

Last game I pre-ordered was Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Because it had some pre-order bonus content and was 10 % off. I didn’t regret it, even though the DLC weren’t as great as the base game. If I know for sure I’m gonna purchase the game regardless of reviews (which have let me down before anyway), I pre-order sometimes.
