That’s good to hear - I rely on HW transcoding for a couple situations and have heard from a couple Github issues that it’s not as good on Jellyfin - but that may not be the case now. Best thing I can probably do is set it up and see how it fares on my library!

I tried setting up calls and while STUN/TURN works in WAN, but not LAN, Element are supposed to be making a replacement that makes voice and video calls entirely E2EE, aka Livekit, which I’ve completely failed to get working. So far I’ve given up on improving my instance’s features and stick to Element Classic. I hope you get it running well!
You mean when they went closed source? I know Jellyfin is all open source but apparently rougher UX all round… and Emby is miles better than Plex, not least because Plex has a scalp-worthy cost and too many paywalled features. Jellyfin to me is a purist alternative - libre software is ideal but you start to get a much weaker product.
For folk like us who perceive very little opposition to black folk in our locale, or value peace etc., All Lives Matter sounds far more logical than just Black Lives Matter, as the phrase ALM encompasses all life, as is our belief. To us BLM sounds like discrimination, black supremacy. In reality, the people that coined the phrase and stand by it intended to send a different message that the phrase doesn’t fully convey: Black Lives Matter As Well. Because where they are situated there is a strong pressure of authority and societal racism treating people whose melanin levels are higher as less important or less human. Said cruel society started using ALM as a counter, to once again belittle their black society.
It’s not the first time a nasty group of people appropriated good, well-meaning phrases and symbols for their own ends and it won’t be the last. The rest of us have to adapt and avoid association with them by not using the appropriated language.
Finally, those who comment that anyone who doesn’t think like they do are “stupid” are themselves egocentric, ignorant of other communities outside their own that do not share their struggles and either have never heard of, or do not have need of the BLM movement.
Knowing when to stop fighting is also a strength. Rumours of weakness are pointless - attempting to unfairly discredit someone else achieves little more than societal damage.

bro. Fucking – Think about it. Klarna pay in 3 installments divide the cost by 3 and take payments monthly. Month A, you pay one third. Month B you pay one third of months A and B. When I finally decided to seek a diagnosis I would frequently be waiting so long to be seen that the feeling passed and I’d cancel the appointment because I ‘no longer needed it’ – and then I was worried that when I do go I’d be on a high again and not show any symptoms of my lows, so not be diagnosed. This wasn’t the reality thankfully.

I highly recommend a Navidrome/Slskd/beets[lyrics]/Symfonium setup!
I have a Proxmox container running: Navidrome, that serves music in a Library Folder (B); Slskd, that serves a SoulseekQT web UI and downloads to a Download Folder (A); and beetbox beets program with the lyrics plugin installed via pipx that has config parameters set so that I can manually run it, it’ll detect and allow me to identify songs downloaded to Folder A, inject synced lyrics, and move them to an organised folder structure in Folder B.
What’s stopping me is it still feels like a generic resale or untrustworthy website… I see that it isn’t, though… And it’ll take a lot of money to buy DRM free copies of 600 games. My plan is to move the Steam game files and uninstall Steam, to test if Heroic can launch them. Whatever fails can be rebought, or counted as an acceptable loss
