  • I am no theologist nor have more than cursory knowlege of the Bible, but isn’t Armageddon “started” by God himself, not an emissary, against the gathered armies of Satan?
And err … the only ones who gathered armies are trump and bibi (who try to lure in others to join them…)

Is maga turning a blind eye again to the fact that this announcement of trump bringing about Armageddon points to trump being Satan’s plaything?

If they try to proclaim trump as being God himself then there is a whole other level of delusion going on.

  • Yeah… it all feels like a new campaign to make trump seem like the good guy.

Posts will start popping up how trump ended 35 wars in the utmost bloodless manner, worked his best to fix Ukraine peace but zelenski is being stubborn, trump personally bringing the calm to Gaza and liberating Venezuela from its oil, uh greedy dictator. Heck trump even brought calm to the violent turmoil on zeta-proxima-17!

In 2027 the videos start appearing of trump riding the winged Pegasus and healing blind children with his benevolent smile that radiates golden light, with the words “let him finish” being used as a mantra.

  • I am far from an expert, but basically HD10 is a base layer, it ecodes and thus sends HDR data “once” per whole video.
Formats like HD10+ and DV are dynamic, they send HDR (brightness) information per scene/frame over an extra transport layer.
And those layers can be sent at the same time for the tv to use which one it prioritizes.

From the info above it seems the patent is about the way both “streams” of the HDR formatted metadata are combined and transferred over the internet to the display device.

If this is the case, Disney might do some brainstorming on what is cheaper in the long run: Offer both HD10+ and Dolby Vision which is not a cheap license in itself, on top of which comes the license fee from the patent they infringe on … if they can’t find a workaround.
Or, go with a single HDR standard, in which case I can see them drop DV support altogether to save on (expensive DV) license fees.

Regardless of this, I do not think the case is a positive development.
