      You absolutely can. Its just you actually have to show up first, and not focus on a single election, and vote pragmatically instead of with “principle”.

          Well since people keep not showing up, focusing on a single election, and voting (or not) based on their “principles” (re: ego), it’s not.

          Considering alternatives require all those things (and usually more), I don’t see anything else working any better though.

              If the victims (ourselves included, no matter your nationality) never do anything to fix their own situation, no one else is going to do it for them. There is no white knight coming for you, sitting on your ass and waiting for someone else to fix everything for you is how fascism takes hold.

      I mean if anything besides communism counts as “Fascism” to you, you are probably right. I am not quite sure if your authoritarian alternative sounds better to me than democracy though.
