To be fair, at least they’re using the variety that relies on a battery to detonate. The battery is only anticipated to last 40 days.

Cluster munitions are obviously horrible, but at least we’re harming civilians as little as possible? I don’t know. I’m trying to put a cherry spin on a turd sandwich. Fuck Trump.

      “I’m trying to put a spin…”

Yeah but why? They really don’t need people trying to run defense for them.

It looks like they are also anti tank mines? I guess I dont know a lot about them but I dont think they will go off if a civilian steps on one. That said, still fuckedz and someone innocent will probably still die.

The article mentions that they will explode if they detect their “orientation” has changed significantly - which is what happened when someone reportedly picked on up and it exploded, killing them.

Sooooo… sounds like they’re better than they could be, but are still pretty inhumane to drop in civilian areas.

Until they start adopting the Israeli line of we were targeting insurgents in the area hidden among the civilian population.
