Idk if that’s gonna help, friend, they might just lie about understanding they did something wrong, then hold a silent grudge on you, then finally “retaliate” when the time is right. And of course we all have the capacity for selfish evil, some societies have it as their main value/MO. Chinese people, from my experience in the world and with many Chinese immigrants, are very prosocial, family oriented, collectivist and avoid violence. Literally never have I ever seen or heard of anyone get harassed or violently mistreated by Chinese immigrants either in my own country or the ones I’ve lived in. 🤷

I’m not, it’s just not something you understand. I meant Abrahamic monotheism, but that’s just because that’s the most complete uhh “understanding”. It’s not vague, it’s slightly debatable but it’s not open ended, and if we sat down and thought about God even without this Abrahamic background I’m sure we’d reach the same conclusions (unless we’re sociopaths trying to make excuses for ourselves). 🤷

I assume you’re a Westerner… Your entire culture was based on “might makes right”, it hasn’t done anything but make the world a worse place. No, what you need is values, what you need is belief in the value of righteousness. But people worship themselves, or money, and just chase the bag and sensations and that’s how you end up with a “society” of fearful, hateful, sociopathically selfish strangers. Once that’s set in, the “need” to choke people will disappear, but without it choking won’t do anything but just give more credence to the “might makes right” approach to life.

Milady, actually God-fearing people exist (the vast majority of “religious” Americans don’t fear God nor keep his commandments, and many straight up added Trump to their pantheon, lol).

Christianity’s well has been poisoned from the very beginning (Jesus was a duty-bound monotheist, Christianity is a “you’re already good cause Jebus died!” state religion that co-opted the person they murdered), and regardless of the words of the prophets in the Bible (mixed with some garbage, ofc), Christians/Americans don’t read. And even if they did, the Church as a whole is Paulian in nature, not Jesus-inspired. And it makes entire sense since from the beginning Roman Catholicism was just a con, if we wanted to truly follow Jesus we’d just be neo-Jews.

The Creator; righteousness; honest and empathetic approaches to the world and divine revelation. Assume you’ll meet the benevolent Creator after you die and that you’ll be judged for your actions and the rest will follow, unless you’re dishonest. 👍

Yeah, I think after “right-wing Christianity” (I’m not a Christian but Jesus was literally an anti-imperialist revolutionary, murdered by the powers-that-were 😭), monotheism is gonna be an understandable “hard sell” in America, lol. Thanks for respecting our choice to be religious! ✊

One new thing that might contribute to it is that some people are using ChatGPT to write even their comments on different social media platforms (and not just, idk, formal letters and uni essays like most people) and ofc that gives big bot vibes. So there probably will be more false positives as these technologies become increasingly ubiquitous (and as people forget how to structure and verbalize simple trains of thought 🙃).
